*shows them putting on coats with technological devices*
*driving away in the distance* (voices are fading away)

D2: Break in, get our friends, and get out

D1: Haha, I wish it were that simple

D2: You dont feel good, do you?

D1: *really sad voice* Ive had to deal with this before and I dont want to lose anyone again

*Hostage garage* (Scotts flashback)

Scott: *Talking to hostages fiercely* Sometimes in life the unexpected happens. *Back to car with detectives*

*Get out of car and sneak into house*


D2: Just be quiet. Dont make any noise or sudden movements. Lets search the whole house

D1: Okay, lets check upstairs first.

D2: Yeah, thats what I was thinking too

D1: Ok lets go

*Detectives run upstairs and search every room* (tip-toeing)

*Tiptoe downstairs *

*turn on light* - *Scott is right in front of them* *D2 gasps*

*claps*

Scott: Very good. Very, very good. I am impressed. You had the guts to come down here, to my lair, with no police, weapons, or money. I am a little disappointed that we couldnt meet earlier, but no matter. I have the two people you care for the most. Any last words?

D1: Please, dont hurt them. Tell us why youre torturing us like this

Scott: The same reason that I lost my brother! Why was he taken away from me?! What did I do? Life wasnt fair but now things are different.

D1: Im sorry your brother was taken away from you. I havent seen my brother, Remi for ten years. I was taken away and left on the streets to survive. Life is tough but you need to learn to let go of things.

Scott: What did you say your brothers name was?

D1: Remi. I dont remember much about him except that he had blonde hair and blue eyes.

*Scott turns around very slowly*

*silence everyone is stunned (including hostages)*

*Scott walking off in the distance*

Moral: Although life may seem unfair at first, dont do anything you will regret, for when times change, it may be you who is unfair.
