I was pretty sad to see the E go. I worked there in the Dining Room, my first job while I was in high school. Mr Jones was the manager and Bob Green was still alive. We had a large Christmas party every year, and it was a great place. I didn't stay there until many years later. Hopefully, they will build something there that will have as big an impact on the economy as the Big E used to have.
