LOWESTOFT AIR SHOW 2008 *LANCASTER BOMBER*

Unfortunately I missed the formation flyby of the Lancaster, Spitfire and Hurricane during the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight. But what I did get some great footage of the Lancaster flying along the coast of Lowestoft during the 2008 Lowestoft air festival. Obviously due to its large size the Lancaster didn't do amazing, breath taking aerobatics but it was still an inspirational sight and sound as the Lancaster flew by. Due to the rubbish weather at last year's show the Battle of Britain Memorial flight never happened! So to see it at this year's show now wearing the markings of "The Phantom of Ruhr" was very nice. Here's hoping the weather isn't bad next year so we see it again!

I'm going to the Lowestoft Airshow this year and I am hoping the weather is good so that the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight fly. Really looking forward to it. Nice video.
