@lethrneck4 He declined his player option year to sign with the Yankees. That is a dick move. He struggled during the majority of his stay in Toronto but in his last year he had a pretty decent performance overall and the Jays never gave up on him. I'm sure if Doc Halladay had been traded to the Yanks, they would of cheered him on.

Lets look at it this way..aj burnett and halladay were both very good pitchers that were loved in toronto..burnett leaves and joins the yankees and is now booed and desposed by blue jays fans..halladay returns as a philly and gets 10 standing ovations...tell me thats not all about burnett is now wearing a yanke jersey ..thats all it is, bllue jays fans hate burnett for 1 reason, he became a yankee, het they got no problem with halladay leaving them in the lurch...yankee hate worldwide

Best game I've ever been to, and I've been to ALCS games in 89 and 91 as well as World Series games in 92 and 93... great atmosphere

as for this game, it was a dirty game
sick until the 7th inning, when the differnece between burnett and halladay became apparent. althought burnett has incredible stuff, halladay taught him how to use it, making him the pitcher he was last year
