My mac is not reconizing the powermate. I have done the steps to delete the preferences and restarted my computer, but still it wont recognize it

Do I install the PowerMate Scripts into the main HD Library / Scripts folder or the User Library ~/ Library / Scripts?

I really really hate the software V3.0!!! It´s counter-intuitive to put it mildly! Have been trying to make it do a ctrl+alt on long press for HOURS now, it´s simply not working. Wondering if I should throw this thing as far as I can out in the ocean! Supportsection MISERABLE!
