Eurobot 2010 Rapperswil Final Round 1/3 RCVA vs. Roboterclub Aachen

The first round of the Final of the European Autonomous Robot Championships held in Rapperwil, Switzerland, on 30 May 2010.
The Teams: RCVA (Université Paris Ouest Nanterre La Defense, France) vs. Roboterclub Aachen e.V., Rheinisch-Westfälische Technische Hochschule Aachen (RWTH), Germany.
This first run was voided because of a very close encounter between the two robots which seems to have caused a malfunction of the RCVA robot, which then blocked RCA's exit. The two teams agreed with the referees to not rate this round.

Some clarification from someone who was standing right next to the table ;-) There was no crash of any kind, the robots never touched each other. The avoidance systems of both robots worked perfectly.

The RCVA offered a replay of the match because they didn't intentionally program their robot to block our bin and don't want to win in a unfair way. Thanks for that fair gesture.
