  • I wish I had taken the the chance I was given to learn the dances of my tribe. I have enough Lenape in me to have done them as a child..I'm sad I didn't because they are so amazing. I'm from New Jersey and we had a Lenape museum until just a few years ago. I wish I could find others of my tribe and could connect with them.

  • What was the grass dance for, I am from the Ramapough Lenape tribe however I was born in California because my mom moved from New York before she concieved me. I dont know too much since I barely got in contact with the tribe a few months ago, thanks.
