He give me chills. I have adored Todd since S/A. I cant wait ti see him live again.

Got to be one of the best ballads I've heard in a long time.

Todd has such prodigious talent it's at least near-genius. He's been dismissed by many as a trick pony, a mimic, a show-off; lord knows he can't get thru a show without saying something sarcastic. It's not his fault he's brilliant, and music runs around his brain like a runaway freight train. Under the veil of the cynic is a catalog of brave, beautiful, brutally honest songs. This is it: songcraft and soul on a great night. Thanks for the post

Love the A Capella album, and this song in particular - but the string quartet gives it a classic, ballad, chamber-music sound. Lovely indeed.

Another Todd concert I'm sorry I missed.

Its been nearly 40 years since I first heard TR, saw him live the first time 30 years ago. Maybe my hearings not what it was, but man alive he sounds just as great in this track as he did all those years ago. What a pro!
