  • Could you leave the spacers in there, if you was to grout over them and they are so far in the gap you couldnt tell? Just remove the obvious ones, Thanks.

  • This is demonstrating exactly the opposite of what a good tiling job should be like, started in the wrong place so the ends will not match, assumes the walls are straight (which they never are), and use pre-mix cement . this is amateur hour !!!

  • dont start with a full tile againsts a wall. rookie mistake. if the wall runns out you could be left with a sliver at the top...which would look pants and also highlight that your wall isnt true.

  • What a bell-end. Start tiling from one end with a full tile? are you F'ing serious? What happens if you need a sliver of tile at the other end? it's going to look sh1te! He pretends to look like he knows what hes doing with a level. I have never tiled and I knew you start from the centre of the wall! What a cretin! Whats this guys name so I don't get the tw@ to do my bathroom!

  • Good job and thank you for the instruction,,,

  • @urbex2007 I think people CAN do a good job when they try. It's when they can't be bothered that they become a cowboy.

  • That was easy..

But in fact it'll be impossible for me... I know

  • MEASURE TWICE, CUT ONCE.

  • @sporattik Just seen your comment, I see it was 4 months ago.. Did they hold? and was a firm push enough?

  • @jwtully So why are there SO MANY cowboys? Where can I find a professional tiler? I have had many quotes and people wanted to plasterboard the bathroom out - they didn't know how to strip the paper and tile the whole walls floor to cieling. Some wanted to platerboard over existing tiles. It was a complete joke as they wanted £1500+ to do a 12ft by 8ft bathroom. One wall was mostly window, the other a cupboard. I'm going to do it myself. All I have found in Yellow Pages is cowboy tilers!
