Ah, I love the original soundfont. It's so much harder to use, but when I actually finish it, it makes my :( turn to :D. I don't think I ever spent so much time on a composition. I could have improved the bass maybe, but overall, I'm happy with this :).

I hope you guys are to.

Thanks to hotrods4ben for a fabulous recording :D.

Thanks to RAAAADranger for intense inspiration ;)

  • I always postponed making this.

I don't have any problems with the tempo but to be honest I never thought that DKC3 songs were possible to do with the original soundfont. The OST has some really great effects such as the wind and the string drone which can't be replicated with the Original Soundset at all. That makes this composition too empty in my opinion.

The echoes were really great, but the composition has a lack in the OST's overall feeling...

  • @EsojestMort

Because I could definitely replicate it right >_>.

If there's something I hate, it's when you criticize it for something I had no power over.

  • @UchihaItachiDude

lol, don't take it as an insult. I actually didn't criticize anything.

you chose to take a challenge and used the original soundfont. you got great echoes out of it and your instrument choice is very good as well.

I never said you replicated the song bad, I simply stated my opinion about the soundfont choice. If I'm not aloud to say what I'm think, I apologize. I didn't know that.

You know, that's a nice way to deal with critique.

  • @EsojestMort

Actually, you said my song sounded empty without the wind, which is criticizing something.

And don't get me wrong, I don't mind critique. But when you criticize for something impossible to replicate, that just ticks me off. And no, I don't wanna hear SHIT about what soundfont I should've chosen, because that doesn't critique the composition, but more what COULD'VE been IF I decided to make it in a different soundfont. Don't critique the soundfont; critique the composition.

  • I watched two others before this, the first one sucked! The second one was good, but missed a lot of the background music you got. Awesome job! I am a huge DKC1/2/3 fan!

  • Amazing!

  • I just heard this for the first time now :-O This is really good! O_O Great volume control, man. Total 5/5*

  • ALOT BETTER than my recent version. This makes me wanna trump it :D

  • @eataninja

Not upset at you, but I just hate the way my laggy computer fucks up the tempo.

  • @kitchenmaniac111

Cut the B flats because it held out to long IMO.
