I love this retro cartoon (I think this kind of were TRULY cartoons..not the currently ones)

Jem and the Holograms ran from 1985 to 1988 on such stations as WPIX in New York, WTAF in Philadelphia, WGN in Chicago, KTTV in Los Angeles, WGNX in Atlanta, WYAH in Portsmouth, WUAB in Cleveland, KSTW in Seattle and KRBK in Sacramento.

That is the same Jem. She had a costume change for the main performance as well as Kimber.

Me too! It's pretty awesome that Hasbro cartoons are now turning into live action movies such as Transformers and G.I. Joe. I hope they can make Jem movie.
