@AirsoftReviewNet Thanks for the pointers. Much obliged. I purchased a Cyma (Cybergun) full metal IWI SAR Galil aeg with version 3 gearbox. It's currently shooting hot at about 370 FPS. With a 8.4v stick battery rate of fire is on average 850/min. The only change so far is that I bought a small 11.1v LiPo battery which tucks in with a little pressure; and a MI MI-GOL Galil Rail Handguard. I'll check out the suggested vid and will source the M110 spring - any particular make recommended?

Fantastic video. Do you have another showing how to change the spring so that I can reduce the FPS to around the 345 mark (UK sites allow AEG's 350 FPS maximum).....I would appreciate help in this direction. Please could you also suggest a spring that shoots at that FPS more or less. Thanks once again!

@ThePainterr watch my other video version 3 gearbox guide and just swap the springs out. A systema M100 or M110 should do the trick for you. Cant tell you exactly which one since it all depends on your weapons compression and what all else you have installed.
