@ChampaignLibertarian so you are bitter because you chose to work for a company that offered a bad retirement and public employees chose employment that has average wages and average retirement. By the way why are you so bitter towards our miitary, law enforcement, firefighters, teachers, nurses,o
dot employees, correction officers and any more? -
@tdozzy But you are accurate that I refuse to willingly allow my property (income) to be confiscated so others can have a better retirement or health care then I have. This is class warfare only there is no upper, middle or lower...just the political class (gov't workers and dependents of gov't) versus the rest of us.
-
@tdozzy Well Not really. I was an executive at the comapny and it was quite apparent that defined pension plans are unsustainable...period. My company was as ethical as it could afford and did pay off employees in present value (lump sum), but of course that wasn't squat next to the future annuity value. That is what should happen to all government pension plans.

@tdozzy They can use your kid for their propaganda not mine.Believe me pal my family went thru this in Cuba we know what unions do.
-
The people have let kasuck know his dictatorship will not be tolerated!
-
@561tran They are not pushing for more money. They are pushing to not be treated like a communist slave to the politicians. They are already the lowest paid profession in the country with their amount of education. go get some education and come back and try again.
-
@ChampaignLibertarian So you got screwed and now you want others to get screwed? That just makes you an evil, pathetic excuse for a human being .

majority rules.accept tea party assholes.

You what really pisses me off is mainly gov't workers take advantage of cash for clunkers and other transfers of wealth from taxpayers to themselves. They have the mindset that it is their right.
No matter what happens with Issue 2...rest assured...it is all going to end....badly
@noggin7717 Voting NO on issue 2 will repeal senate bill 5 that strips collective bargaining rights away from public workers. I'm voting NO on issue 2. 2 means 5 and NO means NO

The goal of the GOP and their corporate puppet masters is to lower wages across America. In order to do that more quickly, they need to get rid of the high standards of wage and benefits that public employees receive which set the standards of wages in the entire workforce across America. The corporations can't have that! They want us ALL groveling for whatever crap jobs are left.
