After a long wait, finally the new graphics have arrived! Shown are excerpts of WSB's 11PM newscast on Tuesday, September 28, 2010. Be sure to watch in HD for the best quality!
Look at Monica...the grand dame of Atlanta TV news sitting next to the second-generation of her former co-anchor partner. Now that's a professional diva with longevity!
The new color scheme for the "Action News" logo had been hinted at in recent months, with the white letters on dark background showing up in promos before the new 2010 newscast opens. Now it looks like the old dark letters on white background have been phased out completely. Also interesting to see the gold "2" is now a pale blue in the lower-third graphics.
Wow is all I can say. I liked the GO graphics. I can say I love the new graphics. Way to go WSB.

Love the new graphics, the GO package was getting a little stale. These are perfect for WSB.

A great upgrade from their 4-year old graphics. I love the chopper flyover, a piece of the newsvan and the 3D skyline of Atlanta.

If you look hard enough, during the News Chopper 2 flyover, you can get a glimpse of the news van. The new look is all-out DYNAMO!

WOW! WSB always comes out on top but this package is nice, and the pacing of the newscast fits, the music, the graphics and more... Nice job!

Wow...what a gorgeous next-generation image for Atlanta's news powerhouse. I didn't think the music would work for any look, but boy was I wrong.
