Hannity to Michael Moore: "Why Do You Trust The Government?"

Sean Hannity asks Michael Moore why he puts his faith in the government. "Because it's of, by and for the people," Moore responds. Hannity thinks that is a "cliche."

After Hannity maps out what America should be, Moore responds: "You've been watching too much TV Land."

"I know it bothers you that a lot of people have seen my movie," Moore says to Hannity, who shoots back: "I paid for my own ticket... I want a refund."

Hannity then challenges Moore to give away 95% of his wealth. "If you're not willing to put your millions of dollars on the line, you're a hypocrite," Hannity challenges Moore. "You're benefitting from the system you trash."

Earlier in the interview, Hannity told Moore that he paid 60% in taxes. Moore told him "there's no way" and that he would hire an independent auditor to look into his claim.

I don't really care about either of these two, but Hannity is right: Michael Moore is undeniably a hypocrite. Moore pushes his inane viewpoints under the guise of "morality" and "compassion" for the sake of propagating his own wealth and power, and his sheep eat it up like candy. His position is the PROBLEM, not he solution.

The problem isn't capitalism, it's _crony_ capitalism. I respect Moore, and yes Hannity is often a jerk, but he is basically right about free enterprise being the source of wealth and prosperity.

People never learn to seek the truth.They choose to believe by what the see on the cover. I bet if someone was to do a documentary about Moore and showed you how he accumulated his wealth they would see him in a different perspective.He uses capitalism by making movies(production of goods) and charging the public to watch them(selling of goods). I would be more likely to believe what he preaches if he actually made those films free to the public but i think we all know he would not do that.
