In this exclusive podcast, "NATURE" executive producer Fred Kaufman discusses the series' thrilling silver anniversary special, "The Best of NATURE -- 25 Years," which re-airs Sunday, December 2nd at 8 p.m. on PBS (check local listings). Kaufman touches on the challenges facing natural history filmmakers, how technology has affected the genre, and which segments were chosen for the anniversary special -- including one controversial, disturbing scene.

Hosted by journalist Lynn Sherr, the 90-minute "Best of NATURE -- 25 Years" features some of the greatest wildlife scenes ever captured on film, including fierce battles between predator and prey, the struggle to reproduce and much more. Programs highlighted in this podcast: "Triumph of Life," "Deep Jungle," "Cloud: Wild Stallion of the Rockies," "Shark Mountain," and "The Urban Elephant." "NATURE" is produced by Thirteen/WNET New York for PBS.
