Do you know anything, and I mean ANYTHING at all about these snakes? Maybe educate yourself a little before you come spout some peta bs at me. You are talking about an animal that moves less in its natural life on a monthly basis then the size of the enclosure it is kept in.

You also fail to realize a very important fact. Owning and keeping these animals, being able to show and educate people about these animals, is the very essence of what needs to be done to make any sort of resounding change

are you sure this is a west african? my west african has the horns on it's nose. i believe the east african's do not.

This one was a baby, the horns at its age are hardly noticeable. West africans have more prominent horns from my experience, the thing that gives off W. vs E. gaboons are the lateral lines on the face. West africans have a single horizontal line, whereas East africans have a horizontal and vertical marking.
