SETTING UP LINKSYS MODEM FOR STC DSL CONFIGURATION

Setting up all Linksys Modems as per STC ( Saudi Telecom Company) DSL configurations

1. Open your web browser. Enter http://192.168.1.1 in the web browser's Address field. Press Enter.
1. قم بفتح متصفح الانترنت بعد التأكد من توصيل جهازك بشبكة و كتابة العنوان التالي http://192.168.1.1 مع الضغط على زر الإدخال.

2. On the login screen, enter admin in lowercase letters in both the User name and
Password fields (admin is the default user name and password). Click OK.
2. سوف يطلب ادخال اسم المستخدم admin و كلمة المرور admin و الضغط على زر الإدخال.

3. The Basic Setup screen appears. Enter the STC settings for the Encapsulation, Multiplexing, and Virtual Circuit (VPI and VCI) fields.
3. أدخل المعلومات التالية حسب المطلوب فى الخانات و إضغط على زر save .

Encapsulation: RFC2516 PPPoE
Multiplexing: LLC
Autodetect: Disable
Virtual Circuit: 0 VPI 35 VCI
4. Type username and password provided by STC in case you dont have one, call 906

5. Click Save Settings.
