SPORE Wont Start Up

SPORE desktop icon not doing shiz?, nothing seems to get it running? short video here, helping you get it running. dont need to be a genius, unless its a different problem....

Make sure you have all drivers updated!!
Make sure you meet the requirements!
This worked on vista 32 bit, If on another platform then the location of the files you are looking for can differ.
This is how i got MY copy to work. This wont work for every problem and I dont know how to fix them so sorry

@spinosaurus1 some games dont run well with the graphics cards found in laptops, turn all the setting to low and make sure you have all the latest drivers. (and that you meet the minimum specs.)

@spinosaurus1 hmm in that case, try installing it on another pc. if it runs fine then it may be because of an incompatibility with something you recently installed or updated perhaps? if you are running windows 7 try running it in compatibility mode on xp or vista

OK its not that my spore icon doesnt work but when i start it up (windowed mode) it just stays blank with the spore cursor and when i enlargen it most of the screen pops up purple (still does nothing) do you know what to do to fix it? (yes i tried your method and it does the same thing)

mne says d3dx9 27.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem

when I try to load spore it just says configuration script failed (2000) and then it says could not find a needed package the data directory is missing or corrupt (1004) Please Help!!!
