6 Quick Ways to Burn Body Fat
The temperatures are rising, and it's the prefect season to go to the beach. But summer is also the one season when we wish we hadn't eaten so many cookies and cream.
Well, if you want to lose the fat, its best to start now. Want to lose fat like never before? Check out these 6 quick ways to burn body fat.
1) Eat frequently.
While some diets do promise that binging on food will result weight loss, that is not what I'm trying to tell you. What I mean is that you should eat more number of times in day. In fact, most people who stick to the three-square-meals-a-day theory, never end up losing any weight. Eating at least 5 to 7 meals per day (keeping a gap of not more than 3 hours between two meals) is one of the easiest ways to burn fat. You ask why? Well, it's because our bodies are programmed for survival. When there's is considerable gap between two meals, the body enters into survival mode, and this means that it will begin storing fat and breaking down muscle tissue.
2) Eat proteins to lose fat.
The most crucial nutrient needed by the body is protein. The body uses protein to build lean muscle, boost the immune system, produce enzymes, and maintain overall health of the body. There are two reasons why protein is one of the best ways to burn fat. First, protein helps the body build lean muscle. Since muscles increase your body's metabolic rate, you are able burn fat better when you have more muscle tissue.
Second, protein has a thermogenic effect on your body; in other words, it increases your body's core temperature. If you've read any weight loss magazine, you must have seen ads for thermogenic fat burners. But if you give your body the necessary supply of protein, you won't need any artificial ways to burn body fat.
3) Get some shut-eye. Conventionally, sleeping has always been a sign of laziness; more often than not, we've been told to sleep less and work more. Science, however, has proved this conventional wisdom to be lacking. According to scientists, sleeping for 7 to 8 hours every night is one of the most effective ways to burn body fat. Why? The truth is that lack of sleep makes your body to store fat instead of burning it. Thus, if you really want to shed those pounds, you have to turn in early and get a good night's rest.
4) Physically stress your body. I'm certain you beginning to wonder when I would talk about exercise. You're right; exercise is one of the most effective ways to burn body fat. If you want to lose those extra pounds, you will have to start exercising regularly. Weight training is for building muscle, and cardio is for losing fat. In truth, this is nothing but a popular myth. Do you know that training with weights is one of the most helpful ways to burn body fat? Weight training is better than all other forms of exercise because it allows you to burn fat for days after your workout. When you train with weights, you build muscle; this increase in muscle mass raises your metabolic rate, allowing you to burn fat at a faster rate.

5) Cardio with high intensity. Cardio plays an equally important role in losing weight. But remember that slow-paced long walks are not going to help you burn fat and sculpt your body. Your cardio workout will only be truly effective in helping you burn fat if you up the intensity. In fact, one of the best ways to burn body fat is high intensity cardio. Not only do you spend fewer hours on a treadmill but you also achieve more in a short period of time.
6) Drink water. Did you hear about the best low calorie drink to hit the market? Its ideal for these summer months as it keeps you cool and refreshed; moreover, it tastes good and contains no calories. The drink I'm referring to here is water. One of the best ways to burn body fat is to make sure your body is always hydrated by drinking lots of water. Water is such an amazing fat burner because of the following two reasons. Lack of water in the body means that instead of metabolizing fat, your liver will be busy helping your kidneys get rid of waste materials. Undoubtedly, this will cause the metabolization of fat in your body to slow down.
Are you prone to water retention? If you do, then let me tell you that the more water you drink, the less your body will store it. It's just like how the body functions with food. Your body will not feel the need to continue storing water if you supply it with sufficient amounts at regular intervals.
