Yuri Foreman, the undefeated junior middleweight from Brooklyn who is studying to become a rabbi, landed the best punch of his fight in the third round on Saturday night and paid dearly for it.

After the punch landed, Foreman appeared to drift into his opponent, the shorter and unwieldy Cornelius Bundrage. As a result, Foreman, 28, was the recipient of an accidental head-butt that opened a deep gash over his right eye at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City as part of the Latin Fury 9 card on Pay-Per-View.
