Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD 6.0 Acceleration

Fitted 33", truck has option GT5 and G80...

I know the speedometer is off after fitting the 33" but i feel as it has lacked in Acceleration...

@AwsomeInventor nope, don't know what was wrong with it... it was a lot quicker with the oem size 245/75R16

Need to program the truck for the tire size or else the truck will not compensate for the oversize tires

Check your throttle body man, I cleaned mine because it lacked a lot of low end torch. Now it's crazy how much of a diffence it has

i have a 05 2500hd 6.0L with 33s an i dont think mine is that slow off the start

i kno mine is quicker from 40-60 i dont kno about the start though

all i have on mine is a K&N cold air and 2.5 true duals straight piped exhaust

but i've been wondering if the speedo is set off :P

what rear end gear does the silverado have? to find out the gear ratio for getting your acceleration back, look up a gear ratio calculator
