I think Asia should preserve it's culture as much as possible. Especially Japan! I say that because it's my interest.

Great song!!!!... By the way, about the westernization thing.... Some of you are getting confused... America is not one ethnic groups' nation. It is all culture's nations. So don't confuse Americanization with the term "white wash" it's very insulting.. Also I think he's less portraying westernization and more globalization in general/modernization.. I doubt he's talking about "Americanization" Great song!!!

it's a sad thing...we live in a world that's ruled by capitalism. Capitalism, amounst all the bad things, is a destroyer of cultures.
The song, "Asian Crisis" is basically about the asian crisis which basically means that asia is becoming way too white washed. What he's talking about is that his music is trying to convey the graveness of this crisis & the consequences it will come with. I watched this special on NHK. Nerd, I know. :]
Hope that helped

There is nothing wrong with accepting another culture, but we are forgetting where we are coming from, and therefore we are losing our culture. And I totally agree with the english language being misused and half of the ideas that we get of the western world is the media, which is 95% misconception and stereotyped ideas, and when we get ideas from a thing like that, we can't tolerate it.
