I love that u study deeply. But I respectfuly disagree with banishing the cross. I don't bow down b4 the cross, I only worship Him. I do love the symbol, it's what God used 2 bring final sacrifice. I don't see scripture clearly state the cross was a statment of Tamuse, HOWEVER, I dont argue the theory, just question it, for it's possible it could b as u say. But I love the NEW meaning Christ Jesus gave to it. And every time I look at it, I'm reminded of His atonment to save me from Hell.

@tbone687 I appreciate your kind words+i can tell you have a sincere love for GOD and i love that :) and i wanted to just tell you if you need further proof of what the cross actually was a symbal of just goggle the cross and Tammuz-they dont hide it-because they know only few will search or ask- and the danger that has happened is the violation of the 2nd commandment-pls read the cross has become a graven image most christians accept+4 CHRIST's death should be inside us-its almost idolatry

@topsouljas1 Perhaps a few, 4 example catholics who bow n worship images this may b true. As 4 myself n most any1 in the faith I've known this is not so. If I started my own church I'd have no hangups about puttn a cross in front, 4 its a common symbol of Christ's sacrifice. Regardless how the romans came up with its design, it really shouldnt have baring in Christian lives or worship. Jesus chose the roman cross 2 die on, so I have no problem with it in simple rememberance of His sacrifice

Amen. Jesus told us that we worship in the Spirit, this is the only worship our Father accepts, the amazing thing about the cross is by Jesus being crucified on it Satan was judged. Just like the stone the builders rejected has become the capstone, this is God's doing and it is marvelous in our eyes. Jesus said in Matt, the eye is the light, and if your eye be single your whole body will be filled with light, but if your eye be evil, your light is darkness. How deep is their darkness.
