Es war mein erstes Auto und wird auch mein letztes sein...
Vor über 20 Jahren hat es mich erwischt und lässt mich nicht mehr los.

Einen Renault R4 den find ich Super, hatte auch mal einen. War ein Superauto bis auf die Antriebswellen, die ab und zu mal rausfielen. Trotzdem erinnere ich mich gerne dran zurück!

Lucky you to find spare parts!; 10 years ago closed the last "Renault spare parts" store in Mexico (for classic models); Now we just have parts for the new ones and with some luck maybe we can find some R4, R5 or R12 in a junkyard; Very, very far away the times when the majority of the bussiness used large fleets of R4's for deliveries (Late 60's-early 70's).

Hey super! Ich kann mich noch an die Zweifarbdiskussion im R4-Forum erinnern. Die Rallyestreifen sehen gut aus! Vielleicht sieht man sich mal auf nem Treffen? Gruß

congrats. i had a R4 from '72 to '75 and it was the most reliable car i ever had.

That´s right, i love this car.
I have buy a R5 Alpine Turbo today. It´s my new projekt. But it´s a lot of work.
This R4 i want give my oldest son (now 3,5 years old), when he ist 18 years old.
And the R5 is for my youngest son.
