I once had the shits in Kunming, China, and had to use a public toilet. Imagine this one but with a row of holes and not a single partition. The Chinese shitters just squatted down and read their newspapers, totally oblivious to everyone else -- that is until I came in and pointed my sputtering ass into the hole. Seeing whitey shit seemed to be the highlight of many of their lives. I swear they were calling people in from the street just to watch me dump.

I have to say, however, that taking an unhurried and relaxed, yet explosive, dump after an excruciating one-hour's bearing, in a clean and private toilet with something good to read to hand, is by miles one of the biggest pleasures in life.

Hehe well I used these toilets myself on my various visits to China. Not pleasant but if you are in the middle of nowhere, it might be a better idea to find yourself some bushes where nobody has had a poo before.
