  • Neil doesn't parody individual songs so much as the performers and their styles. That's why his music for the Rutles is so great! If you can, listen to his Bonzo song "Fresh Wound," which is like a George Harrison song.

  • Ron Lennon, song-writer, prophet, baby-sitter; with his own particular brand of cigarette

  • Brillinat!! Love his music & performances so much... would love to see a live performance

  • I like the way he uses these old proverbs in Good Times Roll, e.g. 'an elephant never forgets'.

  • Yeah this song became the Rutles parody of that song

  • great spoof

  • after 0:18 it starts to sound like "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds"

  • before the rutles on a real timeline but after in the rutles universe
