During one episode of Double Dare, Marc Summers comes across a wind-up toy boat as he describes the obstacle course. What ensues is one of the funniest moments in the show's history.

  • @timetravelhyman88 Can't say for sure, but I strongly suspect that this came from their Philadelphia days. (And FWIW, it wasn't called "Super Sloppy" until they went syndicated in 1989.)

  • you know, actually if I remember correctly, I believe obstacle 8 was the pipeline and they did show the boat on an iceberg. That course was won and at the end marc was holding the boat. I am actually in tears laughing that this clip.

  • Actually, #8 was the Suspension Bridge.

  • ok here the answer in 1987 double dare was moved temporarily at unitel studios in new york called super sloppy double dare a short lived series on nickeloden air weekend mornings because the blue scoreboard is add it and the home viewers in the large mailbox behind marc's lectern.
