omfg laptops are WAYYYYYYYYYYY more expencive than desktops. you pay twice the price for them. i have owned 5 laptops. some mac and some pc. they are way more expensive.

I repaired the motherboard and power supply 2 weeks ago in my server because it bombed out... AGAIN!!!

i cant w8 to get a mac mini server or xserve and have to stop worrying that it will bomb out again.

Plus I do the labor. a computer store charges $60 just to look at it. then per hour. plus cost of parts.

$3000 in repairs? LOL. I can't recall the last time I've had a PC repaired by an outside source. No offense (really), but stick with Macs, dude. And I find it hilarious that you call the Macpro "old" but Macpro is still retailing for upwards to $3000! So, you're Mac rips off folks? Hmmmm.......
And did you seriously say laptops are more expensive than desktops!? Laptops were created for convenience and price! Dude, I'm so done shitting up this thread. Message me, I may respond later.

and i can upgrade a mac pro... i dont have to buy a new one... plus the mac pro is old. its getting an upgrade to 6 core's and other upgraded specs for the same price or cheaper in the first half of 2010. its a rumour but their usually right.

LOL! A "cheap ass" computer that is only marginally (infantile really) slower than $1000 macbook. Outdated shit? Look at the Quad core, 6gb ram, 640gig PC I just emailed you that cost $600. Now, compare that to a $2200-3000 macpro with similar specs. LOL. And Mac's break just as often as Window's PC (you do realize the Mac is a PC, correct!?), but I can replace broken components, easily, in my PC. Mac recommends that you purchase an entirely new system! LOL. Anything else man?

1. 1.6 is outdated!!!! infact the mac mini's 2.26ghz is almost outdated, but thats what you get when you buy a cheep ass computer.
2. I EXPECT to pay over $1000 Mac OR PC. I dont buy cheep outdated shit. you get what you pay for. i wouldnt buy a $300 computer.
3. a computer that will last you 5-7 years before you get a new one. bills or not. thats a dam good price... oh w8 i forgot. PC's only last a few years :( ahahahah all my pc's are broken except the 2 that i keep paying to fix

Certainly, it's 1.6 ghz, which, if you know PC's, isn't much of a difference for a laptop. Certainly not a $700 difference.

BTW, did you actually say you paid $1000 for a Mac simply because you can, or because you're not "cheep" (!!!)? Seriously, man, how old are you? Because, I assure you, anyone who works for a living and pays bills would never make such a tasteless comment.

Oh, and thanks for emailing me the Mini, which I clearly said was the only $600 mac.BTW, it isn't a desktop!ROLMFAO

I like how you completely left out the processor speed. the most expensive thing in the computer.
