New Era - Lil Rascals (Official Video Released - July 07) Beats by Dot Rotten

Hailing from London, England, feisty trio Lil' Rascals released their double UK debut 'New Era'/ Future Wifey' on 16th July 2007 through GFUK Records.

Aged just 11 & 12 when they recorded the song - New Era went straight into the Channel U (UK's No.1 Urban Youth music channel) charts at No. 1, remaining there for six consecutive weeks, and spending a further 13 weeks in total in the Top 5, followed by another 12 weeks in the Top 20.

Love them or hate them, Lil rascals were an underground smash aimed predominately at a target audience of the same age Lil Rascals were in fact urban cult heroes to a generation 9-13 year olds who were cool enough to track down their sound and music like it!

Lil' Rascals new single 'New Era' (called so because of the boys' love of New Era baseball caps) encapsulates a phenomenon in today's youth culture. Their lyrics are true of today's youth love of brand named sportwear, and gives a real insight in to the multicultural youth of Britain.
