This song was directly based off of the movie? If it was, that's really cool because this movie fails to get the attention it deserves. Definitely a favorite of mine

@DestructorOfMinds It cant be the official soundtrack since Silence was released in 2001 and the movie in 1992. However the lyrics are like they are written for the movie

@plasteringtony The song is "The power of One" by Sonata Arctica from the album: Silence. Don't really know if it is an official soundtrack of this movie, i don't think so.

This is definately one of my favourite movies "The Power of One" still love watching this movie.. I also recommend it to ALL.. Love the song Senzenina too.

Peekay's story is Amazing... based on the story by Bryce Courtenay of the same title!! Which is apparently a semi-autobiography of the author's life dealing with racism facism, and ultimately the creation of hope for equality for the people of South Africa. I Love this Film and the books that inspired it.

Thank you all for the great response to this video. And for those of you who are curious, not only did I receive an A on the assignment, but the professor still uses this as an example in her classes.
This is a very powerful movie and I recommend it to all of you. The things you see take part in this movie are the types of things that took place in the time leading up to the "Invictus" movie that just came out in theaters.
