It has a parasite called riberia. It's a parasite that starts out in a bird's stomach. The bird shits in the water, and the baby frogs eat them. Once the parasite is eaten, it takes hold of the frog, and grows extra legs, making it harder for the frog to get away from the birds that eat the frogs. It makes the frogs easy targets so the bird eats the frog and the parasite finishes it's life back in the bird's stomach.
