A "scaled down G10" ?! It doesn't have the same sensor; the sensor is the same as that on the new G11. Get the facts straight, people.

Huh? What's a "zoom sensitive sensor?" Sounds like it justs ups the ISO like Panasonics iA mode.

The LCD looks pretty dim in this outside video.

This video was made days before the G11 was announced. I referred to it as a scaled down G10 because at the time we didn't know there WAS a G11.

Can someone tell me why HD video would be better than this cameras video if the video I see from this camera looks better than the HD videos I've seen from other pocket cams on youtube? What's the advantage of HD? Will HD look better on TV when burned to DVD? Sorry, I don't know much about cameras & I'm trying to decide between the Canon S90 & Sony TX7. I appreciate anyone's help.

: If you want to compare camera's of similar size.... the LX3 is much bigger than Canon S90 and only a bit smaller than the Canon G11.... A G11 is a better comparison to the Panasonic LX3. And the Canon would SPANK the LX3 anyday.

The S90 actually isn't that different from the G11... s90= shorter lens... but faster lens... and no viewfinder. also slower shutter speed. Otherwise their identical
