Louis Fisher, Dale Herspring, Mark Rozell, and Mitch Sollenberger participated in the second panel of the Hauenstein Center's Bush legacy conference in Washington, D.C. The panel explored "Presidential Powers and the Bush Administration." The panel was moderated by Austin Knuppe, research assistant at the Hauenstein Center.

Dr. Louis Fisher, a constitutional law specialist at the Library of Congress since 1970, studies Constitutional law and the separation of powers. He is author of more than fifteen books, including Presidential War Power and The Constitution and 9/11.

Dr. Dale Herspring, professor of political science at Kansas State University, has done extensive research and writing on U.S.-Russian relations, the Pentagon, and national security. He has published numerous book chapters and books, including The Pentagon and Presidential Authority and Rumsfelds Wars: The Arrogance of Power.

Dr. Mark Rozell, professor of public policy at George Mason University, writes on the presidency, religion and politics, and conservatism. He has authored and edited numerous books, including Executive Privilege: Presidential Power, Secrecy, and Accountability.

Dr. Mitch Sollenberger, assistant professor of political science at the University of Michigan-Dearborn, writes on the Supreme Court and separation of powers. He is author of The President Shall Nominate: How Congress Trumps Executive Power.
