Most of our childhoods have already been ruined by needles at the doctor's office, but one Japanese inventor thinks he's come up with the perfect pain-free, needle-free injection to sooth tomorrow's lucky kids. Called Mother's Kiss, the device would theoretically eliminate the need for needles and even existing needle-free devices, which use gas or air pressure to deliver drugs (think primitive Dr. Crusher). Instead, the seemingly simple device uses tiny plastic ampules to deliver life saving meds to the needle-averse. National Geographic has a video, but it doesn't embed, so check the link for more on inventor Yoshoi Oyama and Mother's Kiss.

  • OUCH! I got a flu shot with this last week at the pharmacy and it took 5 days to recover! I had 3 inch, red inflammed, swollen area and couldn't lift my arm for 3 days. When I called the pharmacy, she said she had lots of the same complaints. It was more painful than a needle and I WOULD NEVER HAVE ONE AGAIN! I can't imagine an old person or kid getting this!

  • There is still pain, I use this for my Sumatriptan for migraines. But it does work about 5x faster!

  • What else can u use it for haha

  • Humira should use this! And same with Diabetes patients

  • What about biological agents that need to be in tissue like fat?

  • Bring these in and I will go to get my jabs!
