@senorstalefish In addition to wcuvaulter35's excellent suggestions I'd add:
(1) Little River in the Smokies is probably about 2 hours from Ashvegas
(2) Not really a creek, but Nolichucky at higher water would be fun in a little raft.
(3) Depending on your definiion of Class IV, most of Watauga might qualify (probably would wanna walk the falls)
(4) And, of course, in your own back yard: The Upper Green (the section above the narrows)

I am looking for a good solid class IV creek for my small raft within two hours of Asheville.....I really like the Big Laurel but it's never flowing. Something similar would be my style. Any ideas? Thanks! Great video!

@senorstalefish I would say Cheoah when it is realeasing, Chattooga Section 4 is always a good one, um Wilson Creek maybe, those are the ones that come to my mind.
