I could have taken the high road. I chose, perhaps futilely to educate one of the many people who votes half-informed. I'm almost amazed this is a new concept to you.

It's not a soapbox, but rather an ongoing response to a trolling, initiated by someone possibly like yourself, who felt a need to make a comment broadbrush painting a group (in this case, Fox news watchers) as idiots and lowbrows. Nobody's forcing you to read, and we can equally ask why you feel the need to complain.
