Spock is the Word!

Way back in the 1960's, Leonard Nimoy of "Star Trek" made a music video of his song "The Ballad of Bilbo Baggins," and various versions of that can be found here on YouTube. Also back in the 1960's there was a group called The Trashmen who were recording "Surfin' Bird." Thanks to modern technology, we can kind of see what Spock would look like if he had been into Papa-Oom-Mow-Mow!

I'm still smiling. This does, indeed, fit better than the original lyrics to this video. Those girls prancing do look like chickens/birdsscratching for insects. The British called young ladies "birds." This is all starting to make some sort of 60s psychodellic logic.
