This video shows a final group presentation from a 3-day workshop at Gumpo Hall, East London, Eastern Cape, South Africa. This exercise came out of material raised in a mapping exercise, where places of value, identity and change in the community were highlighted. The extract shows used a shortened version of the Image of Transition exercise developed by Augusto Boal. In this video the actors in the image stepped through from their original "image of reality" towards an "ideal image". The group then reviewed the video and unpacked the key step occurring in their improvised transition, these have been annotated onto the video
