Printing began as an attempt to make easier the production of multiple copies of documents, fabrics, and so on. Nowadays, printing is seen as fundamental for many industries, such as commercial, law, religion and others. Printing has become part and parcel of our life, without us noticing. Businesses print business cards, envelope, flyers, brochures, and letterheads. Individuals [print announcement cards, bookmarks, posters, postcards, and others.
Printfac3 offers 4 colour printing services for a variety of collaterals for business or personal use.
this is more of how print is made, not the history of it....

@TheAnubis57 One of the biggest changes is that type is no longer set. The intended image is usualy composed on a computer the image being exposed onto a special form of plastic which is then treated resulting in a raised surface which will then transfer the ink to surface of the paper or plastic. Editing rooms need no longer be in proximity to the presses aand alround cost savings.

Wow, that was a very good video. It's such a shame that things have changed so much these days. The technology has made it possible to eliminate almost all of the people that would have been needed in the past. Excellent video though and I'm glad you found it or someone preserved it!

Thank you for posting this fascinating glimpse into the past. I'm becoming very interested in the process and history of printing as I work in a library. I wonder if present day printing is still conducted this way.
