GREAT DIESEL EXHAUST NOTE!!

Trip onboard the Maldivian Ferry "MTCC Uniya", leaving from Baa Atoll Hithaadhoo to Male'

Twin Turbochaged Diesels producing around 1900hp (and a really nice exhaust tone!). The boat creates sort of a tsunami during deceleration, due to it's deep draft. During the acceleration, the boat's wake literally jumps back:P.

This ferry was built around 1987, but It's well maintained, and performs good as new!

And not to mention the beautiful Maldivian scenery!

Quite "groggly", but not really "the best diesel note". This accolade belongs firmly to Deltic and any other 2-strokes, closely followed by Maybach MDs.

Camera is too shaky. You need to improve it. You are zooming in and out too often. Other than that, not bad.

no, best diesel noise is the range rover tdv8. sounds better than a petrol v8

WOW. I watched this whole video with the audio rendered by a logitech G35 headphones. WOW. I feel asleep listening to it. It;s like a lullaby singing a child to sleep. I would take that ferry just to take a nap on it. What a great video!
