  • this one is great

  • "Two falls or submission?" or "two falls or one submission?"?

  • i WAS (summer79) there & probably the only "punk" among them. it was foundation time, sorry for those people. many there probably got their tickets from connections they had over WDR-TV-channel-friends or so. still a pretty stupid crowd anyway - and i can still find myself nowhere in the audience.......

  • Great concert, boring audience

  • one of the best things ive read in the past 11 years ive had the internet...

  • Yes, there is way too much shit being made these days!!!

  • Yeah, I wouldn't say they were ahead of their time because nowadays everything is shit, but they were definitely too much for this audience. They're brilliant.

  • Wire were too ahead of their time for their own good...commercially speaking that is.

What a waste of chairs at a Wire concert.

  • 'Rockpalst' was a program on german tv in the 70s and 80s. they always had several bands on. judging from the bearded hippie types in the audience they had probably come to watch barclay james harvest or something so they're all like 'wtf is this?'

  • IMHO, judging from the way they all look, you would never know these people are at a Wire gig. I'd be romping all over the place to a live Wire gig, like how I used to bounce off the walls in my basement, with WIre cranked in my old system when the folks were out of the house. Not sitting on my rump looking bored dead as a stump like these folks! I was still a teenager in Minneapolis, when Wire were playing the mid/late 80s at First Avenue, so I couldn't go see them. Oh well. You Tube is great!
