Tulips lips oh Luskus Delph
Your baking breath breeds body 'x'
With silken measures try to gauge
The inside sweetness of your cave.

Peach preserve your simmering jewel
Hid away like orphans' gruel
Help me find the widow's crack
Make me stick like ceiling wax

Almond eyed my turkish pearl
Burn me up sweet oyster girl
Shove me in your steaming vat
Make me split like chicken fat

  • Such a delicate yet complex melody, and the drumming is outstanding (B.J. Wilson, a most underrated genius). Nice touch on the piano and superb vocals by Mr. Brooker, and truly original lyrics. Thank you so much for posting this hidden jem!

  • I love this melody so much..sounds simple but I know better. The Salvo remastered PH discs are well worth the money..fantastic sound. The version of Luskus Delph on the Live with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra is even better than this original imho.

  • Delightful lyrics teetering on the brink of vaginolotary.

  • @jmzfactor ...just downloaded the live version...agree that the live version is even better......

  • @bbw1000 Reid was to Brooker what Hunter was to Garcia or Taupin to John, oh hell Lennon to McCartney (& vice-versa in their case)...the essence fo the mystery is in the collaboration.

(Regardless of what anatomical reference is made here, it's a beautiful tune.)
