Until the 1970s, the village of Antsoha was known throughout Madagascar as a centre of lentil production. But the prosperity of Antsoha and the surrounding area has greatly dropped over the last decades and the inhabitants now live in extreme poverty. In this video, Melanie Ravao a lentil farmer, tells us how she and her neighbours are being helped to improve productivity and to find markets for their produce now that the area is being developed by AD2M into a regional growth pole.
