Inspired by Edward Gorey's 'The Gashlycrumb tinies. I brought the story to life using animation and imagination. It took around 80 hours for the entire composition, taking photos of a poster with the story, editing each character out of the scenery, adding them back in and animating them, compiling all the footage together for each child, adding voice overs, sound effects, music, and titles. I think it was well worth the time spent... Enjoy!

As tSIX put it, this is really MATT-astic !!!!! Although there are many YT-videos for the 'tinies', you created the ultimate version to which any other has to stand comparison. Even if I shouldn't accentuate one single letter, but you killed me with Victor, when the train came a second time :) Each second of your work was worth the effort. Brilliant, hats off for you ...
Found this while searching for the original animation from around the early 80's that sometimes showed during "Mystery!". Freaked me out as a kid but I can't find it anywhere...
This is absoulutley amazing. I love it lots. The first time I heard of Edward Gorey was when I bought a tin lunchbox at the dollor store, thinking it was cute (and evil XD). I've become a fan now. :3
