Hi All! Tonight we have a super easy, pantry meal. Look around, see what you have and give it a try! Here is what you will need:

1 link of smoked sausage, your choice, make sure it is smoked and pre cooked!
4 or 5 medium potatoes
1 can green beans
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 medium onion quartered
1/2 can water

Quarter and slice potatoes, place in bottom of a 9 x 13 baking dish. Put onions on top, put green beans on top of that and then slice your sausage and put that in the dish too. Next add the tomatoes and 1/2 a can of water to make a nice sauce while it cooks. Place foil over the baking dish and place it in a 350 degree oven for 1 hour.

Don't have potatoes? Leave them out! But only bake it for 30 minutes. Serve it over rice, egg noodles, spaghetti, macaroni or couscous. Whatever you have. Serve with a nice piece of crusty bread and you have a great meal. Use your imagination, you never know when you will come up with your next family favorite! So until next time, see ya!

  • Well today I have some smoked sausage bought at the butcher, and I didn't know what to do with it. I looked on the internet to find a receipe and also on YT. To my surprise I found your receipe and I have all the ingrediants. Video from 2009. My how time flies. And this is what's for dinner tonight.

  • I watched a few vids of basically the same dish but saw one that also added a chicken bouillion cube, diced red bell pepper, minced garlic, parsley and italian seasoning...just had this for dinner. Sooo good and much tastier than kielbasa with onion and peppers. I think the bouillion cube really added some extra flavor and didn't need to salt at all.

  • i did a version of this at thankgiving time. made a green bean casserole in a big pan as usual, but added cut up kielbasa

polish sausage. cream of mushroom soup, etc. good for quick meal, no potatoes though. i would use rice instead because it cooks quicker. nice eats!

  • Looks good, I'll have to try that, I love your vids, keep posting ~LeaAnn~

  • Another fab recipe.... THANKS!

  • I'll have to give that a try. Enjoy the "what's for dinner" vids. Thanks.

  • Looks good! Glad to see you posting "whats for dinner" again!!
