Here it is at last, the maiden flight of my EPP FPV from HobbyKing. This was my 3rd attempt at a maiden and it worked. The previous flights were stopped by equipment failure of one sort or another. This flight was a bit tricky, still think I have CG to far rear. The engine was a bit week, too for I will change that soon. The good news is I didn't crash. This was shot in Nose Hill Park in north Calgary on March 17 2011. I have a 808 #3 Camera on the nose of the plane, looking forward.
I found out the problem why the plane was performing so poorly. It was a cheep battery, it sucks only 25A. I put in a Sky Lipo from Hobbypartz and I now see 45A and way less battery voltage drop. Will be flying with new battery real soon and posting video.

Thanks for the comment, The motor was a Park400 1350KV and I am using a cheep battery from EBay 5000mAh. The CG was 115mm (I think) whatever the manual said. The plane was badly out of trim and the second flight was much better. But, I still think it flew like a brick :) I bought a Turnigy motor when I bought the plane and I have since put that motor back on, but have not flown since. Maybe I will think more of it once I fly again.
