Hey guys, finally managed to make a short tutorial!! This is a tutorial on how to make the 3d origami pieces AND tips on my own personal way to make them.

**When I said that the paper does not have to be a rectangle, I meant that it can be a RECTANGLE OR SQUARE like post-it notes or origami paper. You can't really work with two different sizes TOGETHER in one model though.

**If you DO NOT stack your pieces then they will be VERY tight as you build your model so if you have fairly large hands/fingers, you might want to stack the pieces in order to loosen them up.

**Not stacking your pieces will make your models about 40% smaller than regular models.

For those of you who are like me and don't want to buy a whole packet of paper, I get my copy paper at Office Depot. They sell them for $0.02-$0.03/sheet so I just get about 30 - 40 sheets of each color that I want.

ENJOY!!

  • Lols And i wasnt really looking at the store we were going to so does staple have it ?

  • @LilMissyQueen22 Haha. Yes, staples definitely does have A4 copy paper, but I don't know if you will be able to buy individual sheets of them (to get a variety of color). They most likely only sell them in the packs of 500 with only about 5-10 colors in each pack. If you have a Office Depot/Office Max in your area they sell the individual pieces of copy paper for about $0.02 - 0.07 cents per sheet. :D

  • Nevermind about that a4 question i asked . My grandma saw me struggling making 3D origami with construction paper and told me shell bring me to staples to get better paper . As of course , she loves origami. I went and i saw A4 paper . she told me to get it because that was the best paper for 3D origami . I did and i was making beautiful peices ! Anyway your tips rocked !

  • @LilMissyQueen22 Haha! Your grandma does origami! That rocks! I am so happy that I could help! It takes a very long time to gather pieces, but I hope you will enjoy 3D origami and the process of building the models. It is a very enlightening hobby and its so fun. Do you have any requests you would like to make for me? :)

  • Hi great video ! Can you answer my question ? When you fold that tiny triangles can you cut them off ? And can construction paper work out just fine like yours ?

  • @LilMissyQueen22 Hi! You can absolutely cut them when you fold the tiny tiny triangles, I did it with my green lantern model on deviantart. I am actually not using construction paper, I am using regular A4 paper. Construction paper won't work, it is too thick to make the pieces. I hope this helps!
