On Saturday 9th of July 2011 The supporters of " International Organisation to Preserve Human Rights in Iran" and "The International Committee in Defence of Sufis and Students in Iran" along with "Amnesty International" in support of human rights in Iran took action in London, Trafalgar Square with a campaign called A Face for Human Rights in Iran.
The supporters of " The International Organisation to Preserve Human Rights in Iran" and "The International Committee in Defence of Sufis and Students in Iran" had displayed an image of the Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, stepping on the Holy Quran with a military boot and holding a spear to the Iranian being inside of prison. The image represented that Ayatollah Khamenei using religion as a tool in order to rule and repress the people of Iran, instead of practicing Peace, Love and Unity, which are the pillar of teachings of Quran.
Later dove where set free from inside of a prison as a symbol of freedom.
Hundreds of people from London and tourists who were passing by, had stopped in support to join the campaign called A Face for Human Rights in Iran, by having their photos taken as a sign of solidarity with Iranian people struggling for Freedom and Democracy.
Later on in the same day, demonstration took place with supporters of "London Green Wave Voice" and "International Organisation to Preserve Human Rights in Iran", outside of Iranian Embassy, in remembrance of students who had lost their lives by the Iranian Government 12 years ago (18 Teer). When at in the middle of the night they brutally attacked and killed many students in the University of Tehrans hall of residence.
Since July 2009, similar actions in many European cities have been organized. A lot of big posters were composed and YouTube films of the similar actions can be seen on the Internet. Thousands of people in Europe have given their support to the Iranian population and demanded respect for human rights.

When the Nazis came for the communists,
I remained silent;
I was not a communist.
When they locked up the social democrats,
I remained silent;
I was not a social democrat.
When they came for the trade unionists,
I did not speak out ;
I was not a trade unionist.
When they came for the Jews,
I remained silent;
I wasn't a Jew.
When they came for me,
there was no one left to speak out.
(Martin Niemöller )
