Deploying the drogue and retrieving the series drogue. This video was made aboard Aust Coast Guard vessel in Qld. It gives a good demonstration of the drogues ability to steer the vessel. Note the vessel is running on starboard engine only, but the vessel continues on track true without helmsperson.
The Queensland Coast Guard were evaluating the performance of the drogue for use on the Noosa river bar.

It's a bit of a dry read, but thorough. The Jordan series drogue website is a bit shorter but not as much technical explanation. Hope that helps.

Why use such a complicated set up? First dig in butt for 1 minute and then deplow 100 or so little drouges. Why not a single one?
